Renovation project of a medium sized office building. Minami-Azabu, a quiet residential area in central Tokyo alittle off from the mainstream office area, we took advantage of its quiet and cozy atmosphere to create a calm, den-like workplace. Inspired by “Snug” a small secret room in British pubs, this workplace is decorated with classical design features such as patterned glass and mouldings coloured in antique gold. Spiced up with the accent colour of green and unique usage of tiles, the space has been made a ”neo-vintage” workplace with great mixture of vintage and modern design.
