Reprint of the mid-century era
働く場所がオフィス以外にも広がっていく時代。あえてオフィスにいる意味が議論の的になっている。自宅で働いても 良い。カフェで働いても良い。郊外で働いても良い。しかし、最高のオフィスで働くことこそが最高のパフォーマンス とモチベーションをビジネスパーソンに提供するのではないだろうか。入居するビルがリノベーションによって生まれ変わるビンテージビルであることに着目して「復刻」をテーマにデザインした。ビンテージなオフィス、その中でも近代オフィスの原点でもあるミッドセンチュリーのオフィス空間に着目。1960 年 代のオフィスはパーティションでマネージャーやパートナーの個室とオープンオフィスが 仕切られれていたが、そんな様子をサービスオフィスや会議室とシェアワークプレイスとが隣り合うビジネスエアポー トのレイアウトに重ね合わせた。木やスチールによる、当時のパーティションの艶やかさや色気を現代のオフィスに復刻することで、オフィスこそがビジネスマンのメインステージであり、オフィスで働くことも一つのステータスだった 時代の勢いや力強さを最新のシェアオフィスに再現している。

Resurrection
Reprint of the mid-century era
Living in the era where work happens not just inside but also outside the office space, the purpose of working in an office has become a subject of debate. We can work from home, in a cafe, or even out in the susburbs. But we believe that a perfect office would be the place to bring out the best performance and motivation of the workers.
Since this office space is housed in a vintage building planned for renovation, we set the design theme for the office space as "Resurrection". A vintage office, especially from the mid-century's which is said to be the origin of modern office design, was our source of inspiration.
Back in the1960's, office space was divided with partitions separating manager and partners' private rooms from the open area. We applied the same method onto the floor plate of the Business-Airport where serviced office, conference rooms and shared workplace co-exists. By reprinting the wood and steel partitions together with its sleekness and brilliance from the modern office design, this new office space showcases the vigor and strength from the times where office was the main stage for workers and to be able to work in such office was thought to be one of their status symbol.
