1855年にイタリア・ローマで生まれたボンドルフィボンカフェ。日本初上陸となった代官山店に続く赤坂インターシティエア店のデザインを担当。窓から見える豊かな植栽や水景もインテリアの一部に取り込みながら、ローマの伝統的なカフェをイメージしダークブラウンの木目、真鍮のパイプ、大理石のモザイクタイルなどクラシカルなマテリアルを用いてデザインを構築している。都心の一等地のでありながら、平屋建てという抜群のロケーションを意識してホールの中央には外からもよく見えるように特注のペンダントを設置。赤坂の新しいランドマークであるインターシティエアのアイコンとなるような店舗作りを目指した。

Bondolfi Boncaffe, born in Rome, Italy in 1855.
We designed the Akasaka Inter-City Air shop following the Daikanyama store which became Japan's first landing.
While incorporating the rich planting and the landscape seen from the window into a part of the interior, imagine a traditional Roman cafe and construct a design using classical materials such as dark brown grain, brass pipe, marble mosaic tile are doing.
Even though it is a prime location in the city center, a special order pendant is installed in the center of the hall to make it look better from the outside, aware of the outstanding location of a flat-shop building.
We aimed to create a store that would be an icon of Intercity Air which is a new landmark of Akasaka.
